Hi Blue Apron

I'm an advertising art director and I make stuff. I believe in minimalist design and that a good Persian rug can make fix anyone's bad feng shui.

Below are some of my projects I've made and ads I art directed. Please enjoy.

In 2013, I went on a Kickstarter-funded, 50-state, 99-day road trip to learn why locals called their state home (food, mainly). Then I made a bunch of posters, postcards and a couple coffee table books from my learnings.

Below is the video of the project and sample spreads from the book.

Type work

Here's a poster I made, inspired by a conversation I had with a co-worker. You can see this project's notes in my Project Notebook.

'd Rather Die Than Diet, 2015. Sour belts on paper.

Pattern Playing Cards

I met a client at her high-end fabric store in Houston and fell in love with the patterns surrounding me. The paisleys were beautiful and the damask curtains were so fancy. So I went home and drew some of my own and then it spiraled out of control until I made these playing cards.

Emergen-C Posters

Emergen-C wanted to promote their new nighttime product, Emergen-Z along side their regular orange powder.

Feel free to look at more work or see my /latest projects on the blog.

I used my 3D camera to make Viewmaster slides. Though you can't get the full effect through a computer screen, I turned them into gifs for your convenience.
